D&M Guitars is a new guitar related
business serving the greater Boston
and Southern New Hampshire area.
D&M is operated by Daniel R. Murphy,
a Massachusetts native who has
been involved in and around the
guitar world his whole life.
Daniel plays guitar, and spent
much of the roaring eighties as
a touring guitar tech for some
of the best shredders of the “Metal
Era”, including Jon Butcher, and
a 6 year stint with Kirk Hammett
and others in between. He also
racked up studio credits for these
and other artists during that
period.
Now a graduate of Bryan
Galloups’ School of Lutherie
in Big Rapids Michigan, Daniel
holds
a journeyman certificate in the
building and repair of both acoustic
and electric instruments.
